Tengo una mala notícia, winter is here... (el invierno está aquí). Hace como 5 días que no veo el sol, no me podria haber imaginado como iba a echar de menos el sol. Todo el cielo, absolutamente todo esta lleno de nubes. Va lloviendo de tanto en tanto y hace mucho frío, además de viento (hoy pedaleaba con la bici y casi no avanzaba), pero estoy preparada, salgo de casa con 2 sudaderas y la chaqueta y no suelo pasar frío.
Ya me han dicho que me he de acostumbrar a este clima y que visto lo friolera que soy lo voy a pasar mal. Pero tengo camisetas termicas, calcetines gordos, leggings para debajo de los patalones y polares, así que creo que no será tan malo.
Esta semana mi compañera con la que trabajo esta de conferencia y como el lunes acabé todos los detectores que tenia que medir, he estado escribiendo el trabajo de final de grado. Me esta costando un poco porqué no se bien bien que poner, es más díficil de lo que pensaba. Ara entiendo el estrés de mis amigos el semestre pasado. Pero he avanzado bastante, yo creo que mañana ya tendré algo decente. Pero es que hay tantas distracciones aquí... (no me quejo de que las haya)
Llevamos unas semanas que casi cada día traen un pastel (el cumpleaños de alguien, uno que se ha ido de vacaciones, otro que viene de un congreso...) y claro después de comer hacemos el café alrededor del pastel y te quedas hasta que todo el mundo se ha acabado su trozo a ver si puedes repetir, vamos que pierdes un rato largo.
También estoy mejorando increiblemente mi capacidad de jugar al futbolín, tengo 3 compañeros super fans y hacemos un partidillo siempre después de comer (antes del pastel), me apodan la killer del area (evidentemente soy delantera y no se me da del todo mal).
También me he enterado de una cosa muy interesante, a mi me ha hecho gracia la verdad, los trabajadores del CERN tenemos una especie de immunidad diplomática. Depende de que tipo de contrato tengas tienes total immunidad (jefazos) o parcial (la gente normal), yo supongo que no debo tener ninguna, siendo becaria...
Este fin de semana vino a verme mi familia y a parte de enseñarles el CERN i Ginebra, que ya me los conozco de memoria... Visitamos un pueblo precioso, Gruyeres, es todo tan verde, tan bonito, rodeado de montañas bastante altas (esta situada en los preAlpes) y unas casa super guais y un castillo espectacular. Suiza es tan bonito, da igual donde vayas, el viaje en coche ibamos todos mirando por la ventana y alucinando.
A ver como se presenta este fin de semana porqué no tiene mucha pinta de hacer buen día, pero sinó jugaremos a juegos de mesa y veremos series y pelis.

I have bad news, winter is here. There's at least 5 days until I saw the sun for last time, how I miss the sun... All the sky is absolutely coudy. It's rainining time to time and it's very cold, also it's windy (today I couldn't move on with my bike), but I'm ready for this weather, I wear 2 sweatshirts and a jacket and normally I don't get cold.
My friends told me that I have to get used to this weather and as I'm very sensistive to the cold they told me that it will be hard for me. But I have thermal Tshirts, thick socks, leggings for wearing under the jeans, so I think it won't be so bad.
This week my mate is in a conference, and as on Monday I finished all the detectors that I have to measure I have been writing my final degree thesis. It has being dificult because I don't exactly know what I have to explain, it's more difficult that I thought. Now I understand the stress of my friends the last semester. The problem is that there are so many distractions here... (actually it is not a problem)
We are having cake nearly each day since last week (ones birthday, someone that has gone in vacations, someone that has come for a conference...) and after lunch we take coffe with a piece of cake and everyone stands there wondering if we ould get another piece, so coffe break takes a long time for us to come back to work.
Also my football table skills are improving a lot, 3 of my mates loves football table so after lunch (before the cake) we play a match, my alias is the killer (I'm the forward and I'm not so bad)
This week I notices a very interesting thing, CERN workers are protected by diplomatic immunity. It depends on your contract, it exist the total immunity (f you are an important boss) or partial (normal people), I suppose that I'm not protected for any immuntiy, being apprentice...
On the weekend I received my family's visit, I show them Geneva and CERN, I know them very well... Also, we visited Gruyeres, very beautiful village, with amazing and green landscapes, rounded by mountains (its near preAlps), some wonderful houses and an incredible castle. Switzerland is so pretty, it doesn't matter where are you going, while we were in the car, all of us were looking trough the window and being amazed by the landscapes
Let's see how will be this weekend because it seems that the weather will be bad, so we'll have to play table games and watch series and movies
